Fire Explorers - Post 621

Little Elm Fire Explorers is a hands-on program open to young men and women from the 6th grade to 20 years of age who have an interest in learning more about careers in the fire and EMS services career field.

Little Elm Fire Explorers meet twice a month (Tuesdays) at the Public Safety Building and are trained in various aspects of fire fighting and EMS by Little Elm Fire Fighters and Paramedics.

Little Elm is proud to use the Explorer program as a step in its mentor program in developing young adults for careers in the fire service. Benefits of the Fire Explorer program includes; improved self-confidence, leadership experience and social network development, fun and exciting "hands-on" career experiences, community service opportunities, and college and career readiness preparation.
